Hi! I'm new to Atkins and just introducing myself. I'm a 35 year old with 5 year old twins. After I had my girls I tried South Beach to lose weight. It worked really well. I also worked out everyday which of course helped. At that time I was staying home with my kids.
Two years ago I went back to work. Now I'm always so tired I don't want to cook. I got in the terrible habit of going to get fast food all the time. I also quit exercising of course. Last summer I worked out some, but I injured my hip which caused me to quit totally. I'm just starting to work out again, but my hip still hurts on occassion. Hopefully it will get better as I lose weight!
During the last 2 years I have put on 30 pounds. I'd really like to take that off plus 10 or 15 more. I have a couple of friends who had great success with Atkins, so I thought I'd give it a try. The only problem I'm having with it is my total lack of energy. I feel exhausted every day. I thought that was only supposed to last for the first 3 days, but it's been 6 days now and I only feel more tired. Hopefully that will get better! Anyway, I'm going to think positively!
