  • Hi from me! :)

Well, I'll introduce myself Yesterday I started my Atkins diet and measured myself at 209lb. My goal is 187lb within any time limit. Also yesterday was a big test for my personality and endurance. We had a barbecue, and beer and a lot of friends, but I ate only meat with no sauce, no bread and no beer. It was hard, there were a lot of nice things, such as sausages. Since I didn't know what was in them I decided not to eat them. My problem with weight first happened after my wife gave birth to our first child. While she was pregnant she liked to eat a lot, so I followed. When she gave birth she went back to normal and I stayed the same. Now she's pregnant again and I don't want to make the same mistake. I joined this forum, cause I need support with my goal, which as I saw members provide to each other here. My wife is not much supportive with my diet. Just a mention to her that I started to a diet made her laugh and say "Again? lol". Well, that's me, I keep my fingers crossed for this. PS. Oh yeah I started eating tuna in oil, is that ok?

        tuna in oil is good!!!
Have you read the book yet? I would recommend you reading about the diet as much as you can and arm yourself with as much information as possible, be as prepared as possible so you can really do this.

Good luck, I am sorry your wife isn't too supportive, hopefully you will find some really good support here.

            Re: Hi from me!

This site is very good for giving you the outlines of this plan, so hopefully you wont go too far wrong if you follow all the advice on here without the book.

            Good luck
