  • Hello again

Well I have been off for about 2-3 months now due to several things. I went on vacation and I guess that started it all. Back to eating all the bad stuff and too much of it. Then I had a emotional breakdown at the end of march that then caused me to breakout into shingles in April and now Im somewhat depressed for excessive hairloss and on top of all that my TOM has been very eradict. Oh and of course all this time I have been gorging on way too much of the evil white stuff

I knew I needed to get back to eating Low carb as I ballooned over my previous starting weight to 179.6 . I so did not want to see 180.

Its been tough getting back to eating this way as I do miss my pasta, rice and breads. Oh and some sugar. I was never a sweet tooth but I had cravings for them every once in a while.

I started my induction on 5/31 and have lost now about 6lbs which I am very happy about. I ended up catching a cold this weekend and still managed to stay on track with making chicken noodle soup without the noodle. My exercising has not been going so well and I dont see it starting this week as I'm still wheezing. I do hope by the end of the week I will feel good enough to do some light exercise.

So I guess thats about it for now. I do need to stay connected on the board for motivation thats for sure!!!

I look forward to reading all the wonderfull success stories as well as questions and answers.

Welcome back Lica! Hope you are feeling better soon. Slowly drop a beaten egg in your chicken broth for some added protein.

      Re: Hello again

Thanks Elisie!!! You know I was thinking about that when I was making it and totally forgot to do it. Oh well I already ate the entire pot of it in 2 days. Im back to eating solid foods now. The soup was definately good though so I may have to make some more and remember to drop an egg in it!!!
