    Hi Everybody
    This is my first time on Atkins.I have a large amount of weight to lose but am determined this time.Its great to know there is help at hand for encouragement and advice. So I may pick your brains every now and then.
    Im weighing in tomorrow then off to the shops to stock up the fridge
    Thanks for being here knowing im not on my own helps

    Welcome Jodie. Good luck on your shopping and stocking trip. It may be good to get rid of some of the non legal stuff you have around. Especially if you think they are going to be issues for you.

      Love Brighton!!!
      I am Fennela from Herts England but I live in California by the beach too.
      Welcome to the boards.
      I have found that making my own lunch and snacks really has helped me get through the days.
      Read the book a lot!!!
      Good luck and stay very strong during the first two weeks and then after that it is a breeze.

        Hi jodiebrighton, sounds like you are off to a great start! Determination is a fantastic mind set. The Atkins diet is awsome and the easiest way to loose weight i have found. You will never go hungry and you will get in the best shape of your life. Keep reading the book and these forums and i know you will do great!
