  • Evie's in the house

LOL Hi everyone!! I am new here. I have joined a few boards to see where I can get some solid support and friendship. This looks like a good place.

I'm married and just moved into a new apartment here in Indianapolis, IN. I hae 2 Lhasa Apsos, 2 Parakeets, and some fish. I'm thinking about starting a euchre club because it is something I used to do in my home town. I miss the fun! I have over a hundred lbs to lose and hope to meet some friends along the way.

Welcome Evie, friends you will surely find. As well as knowledge, lots of it here. Stay focused and keep the faith. You'll do fine after the 3rd day it should be smooth sailing. Good luck. God Bless, Joe

Thanks Joe Brook and Murphey's Mom (wish you were here too)! I have done atkins before and know how great I will feel. I've been doing this just over a week now. Feels good. Brook I had seen your jazzersize picture before and I remember doing it years ago. You do it now? It sure does work the core. I felt so strong.

Awesome! Then you'll get back in the swing of things in no time!

The Jazzercise thing- Well, I went from being over 240lbs and a size 22-24 to hitting goal (size 6/141-145lbs depending on the day) using various exercise programs. I fell in love with Jazzercise last year and in April of this year I certified as a Jazzercise instructor. It's good stuff, isn't it?!

What is your plan for exercise over the summer/fall while you get back in the swing of things with your WOE?
