  • Hello from AZ, losing but stuck

    Hello,
I am a 37 yr old female from AZ. Started out almost two weeks ago on induction (yes I read the book). I have never cheated, it will be two weeks tomorrow. Started out at 180, have dropped to 173.5. I was 173.5 on Sunday & now its Friday & no change. I did start working out Monday & I am hoping maybe that's why the scale is not moving. I am seeing a change in body tone & clothes are fitting so much better. I have really messed up periods & I also thought hormones might be playing havoc with my weight. I am so happy with the Atkins way of life because I don't crave sugar anymore!!!! Yahoo!!!

        Hey AZ,

You are doing great and there may be nothing wrong. Weight loss on this WOE may be sporadic especially after the wonderful Induction losses. There are two thread that may be of help to you and say far more than I can here.

The first is the "weight loss isn't linear" thread. This can give you an idea of what to expect. You haven't really stalled unless it has been more like 2 months with no loss, but you may also want to read the PISS Post Induction Stall Syndrome) thread for general information that may be helpful.

I will try to post exactly where to find these threads, just have to duck back to the menu page.

        GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
        GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

Sorry I am horrible at this stuff--I couldn't get the second link to work. Go to Most Memorable Posts near the bottom of the menu and you will see the thread.

            I am computer challenged.
