Hi all! Nice to know that there is a place to go to chat with and get answers from others on the low barb diet! MY name is Barbara and I am doing this diet for the second time. Last time I was not fuly committed - but now at 60 I guess I've decided its now or never. Since I am borderline diabetic I thought this would be the best diet for me.....and it is! In one week I've lost 7 lbs.......a real boost to my self esteem! And I find I'm not craving sweets - that's the best part. I used to raise and show pugs, but now my hubby and I are involved in canine rescue and love it. I work at a library and am very sedentary at work - at least physically, so it's nice to be able to share ideas with fellow low carbers! Keep up the good work!

I too love your nic! And your job sounds wonderful... we could do with some canine rescue teams over here where I live!

Another fellow pug mommy here!!!! I think it is great you and your husband do animal rescue... so many need help! I am wishing you nothing but the best with your weight loss and health goals!!! I am starting tomorrow and it helps knowing there is a community of support!
