  • Hi Everyone

    Hello Everyone,

My name is Becky ... and I am trying the Atkins diet for the 2nd time, this time seriously. I am approaching my 4th week Monday and have been hesitant to start introducing the next step (OWL) but after reading many posts on this site, realize it's best to move forward. I have been at a standstill with my weight loss for over a week now, going between 1 lb up and down ... (it's better than gaining, so I'm not complainig) and hoping that moving forward will put me on track again and allow me to continue lose more weight. Have not had alot of time these past 2 weeks for exercise ... as soon as my work schedule slows down hoping to pick that up again to help things out a bit.

I look foward to meeting/talking with everyone.

    Becky

Hey Becky, and welcome. If you have been reading the posts you also know it isn't uncommon for a short pause in your loss after Induction as your body adjusts. And you are right. Moving up is best. But take your time on each ring and introduce new foods a couple at a time to find which foods trigger you. This is helping me a lot this time around. Last time I would add a whatever foods I wanted from the rung all in the same week and I never really figured out which foods become my eventual downfall. I am still not doing things Absolutely by the book, I am sure, but I am learning a lot more this time by following it as closely as I can. I am sure you will do fine.

    GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
    GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
    FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.
