Hi! My name is Tammy and I am back for another shot at getting this right. I have done atkins for years and I know it works, but every now and again, I give in to temptation and loose my way for a few months (YES MONTHS!) and I gain a lot of my weight back and I am right back a square one AGAIN. So, today is my birthday (38 OMG!), and after a day with family and friends and mom and dad pulling out all the old pictures, I am shocked at what I have allowed to happen to my body. I am 5'11" and weigh 195 pounds. I am large boned, so even though it may sound like a lot of weight, I am very comfortable and actually look good at 170, so that is my goal for now. I have printed a lot of the induction safe recipes and have made my grocery list for tomorrow. I am wondering where to find the recipe for the pork and cabbage soup mentioned in one of the links?? Anyway, I appreciate everyones support in advance, because believe me, I will need it!

Re: One more time to get it Right??
Welcome and if I could give one piece of sound advice, it would be to be smart and don't rest on your memory of Atkins: re-read the red Atkins book and read all the posts on Induction in this forum. I spent a few weeks not being very productive before I got myself on track with a clean Induction (I'm small-brained I guess lol). Use fitday.com as a smart tool to plan your meals and track them. Also, join the exercise challenges, they are motivating and you get results.
Good luck and welcome!
