Hi everyone - I'm going to try to start Atkins again tomorrow after having success with it (combined with a great workout routine) a few years back. I've gained about 20lbs in the last year and a half due to stress at home, and have had the hardest time getting motivated to get in shape again! I've also had luck with Weight Watchers, but am looking to jumpstart my weightloss with Atkins. I'm 34, have two kids ages 10 and 6, and am currentlly 145 - my highest weight ever. My average is 125/130. Any inspiration will help - Thanks!

Try to get 80-100 ounces a day!
I am 5 5'. I guess jumpstarting was the wrong word - I know how to eat right, but I think this change of dieting will help me get on track right now!
Welcome! Am I reading this correctly, you want to use Atkins to lose 20 pounds before you go back to eating "correctly"? Sad fact is, like any other diet, you go off it and you'll balloon again
I'm not sure what about Atkins you think is eating incorrectly or on which way of eating you gained 20 pounds?
