lol...rofl...I love that...Any who congrats on your weightloss...If you have to bring your on food if you can...So that you know that you can enjoy in the eating festivites and still be in regulation...I love some down home country cooking...Im from the south too.

I love some of the answers already posted. I also want to be invited to Sunny's next pignic!

As for me, I usually tone down the "extreme" nature (worldly perception; not mine) of Atkin's by simply stating that my doctor suggested cutting back on flour and sugar. It helps shift the "blame" off me (sorry Doc!) and pretty much kills all the high-carb options unless mom pulls out the fruit bowl which (thank goodness) is rare!
