  • Hello again....

    Hi all....

    Restarted the program today. I started in May but fell off after a few short weeks. I went from 187 to 178 in 2 1/2 weeks and that wasn't enough to keep me going. I got bored and all those high carb snacks at my job got the best of me.

    I will look on here for support during this journey. Any quick breakfast ideas will be greatly appreciated. Wish me luck!

    Page 380 of the DANDR red Dr. Atkins book has some breakfast ideas.
    I have been making 2 scrambled eggs and two pieces of bacon. Uncured Pepper Bacon with no nitrites.
    Or, roll up some meat like sliced roast beef or ham in a slice of cheese with a little bit of mayo or mustard, a cold cut roll up.
    These are both easy to keep in the fridge and fit induction.

      Great recipes any time of day. Don't limit your self to eggs and bacon in the morning. Have lunch or dinner in the morning. Mix it up! Have a good weight loss journey.

              breakfast=muffin in a minute!!

              i just got hooked on this. although i must warn you, and I'm saying this in all seriousness, you might get bad cravings once you start eating these.

              For instance, I had one for breakfast this morning, then when i got home I wanted another one so bad I nearly chewed my arm off. so i made a tiny tiny one in a shot glass just to tie over my cravings! I wish we could have as much flax seed as we want!

                Thank you all for the support and advise. Today went great...For breakfast I stopped by DD and ordered sausage, egg and cheese without the bread. The cashier looked at me weird but I didn't care. At dinner time I was craving buffalo wings....so I had that with a diet coke. So far so good!
