Hello All I am restarting ATKINS today, I keep delaying but it's got to start NOW!I have been on atkins previously with good results, I have slipped into not so good eating habits and have put on 10lbs...which has to go now !Hoping for all your support as I am sure going to need it, by this afternoon I am going to be struggling, it does not take me long to struggle!!Thanks for your support in advance, Sally

Sally, it helps to think up alternatives before you start to struggle. Always have the fridge stocked with safe foods. S/f jello made and ready for sweet tooth, cheese slices you can microwave (1.5 mins) and make into crackers for crisp and crunchy, decaf with cream when you want something warm and filling, and a rotisserie chicken for when you are just starving and need something right then.
Also think of some alternative behaviors. My favorites are to commit to drinking 10 ounces of water anytime I want to eat something (fills you up). I also get out of the house and take a walk when the fridge starts calling to me. Another good one is to start a project that gets your hands dirty-gardening, painting, nails--anything that makes it tough to eat.
Scan the boards-- you will find all sorts of hints to get through these early days.
