Wow! Great job!!! That is inspiring! Congratulations and keep up the good work. Before you know it you'll be closer and closer to goal and your health will improve even more! Sometimes people are afraid to say anything because they don't want to embarrass you. I bet 25lbs is very noticable especially since you are already noticing the benefits! That is so great! I just restarted induction today and your post was very encouraging! Thanks!

I'm very happy for you that you met your friend, read the book and started on Atkins...and that you have had such great results already! You are standing up to some serious challenges. Way to go and welcome!

          Hi Everyone!

I just want to thank everyone for their overwhelming support and encouragement. It's odd how things work. I used to never discuss my weight. It was almost as if I didn't speak about my weight problem, then I wouldn't call others attention to it and it wouldn't exist. Now I'm here telling the whole e-community how much I weighed and how much I've lost. What a liberating feeling! My weight is a problem but one I now know I can do something about and that feels wonderful.

I've seen many of your before and after pictures. I look on them with awe, envy and admiration. You truly are beautiful people and not just because you lost the weight but because of all the encouragement and inspiration you give to others in their struggle with weight loss. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

What an amazing story you shared. I am familiar with the effects that lupus can cause and I applaud you for your tenacity and strength. I am so glad that Atkins is working well for you and it is my hope that you continue to feel better as you progress through this journey. The best of luck to you!
