    hi everyone!

    this is my second go at atkins. I did it a few years ago, lost over 30 lbs, and then due to a family death (self medication with food, carbs especially, anyone else familiar with that? heehee!) and a few injuries that totally inhibited motion, gained it all back plus quite a bit. and I, of course, just HAD to try another couple of diets. and proved quite conclusively that dieting makes you GAIN weight in the end. no more, thanks!

    when I did atkins before, I didn't follow the stages properly and STILL lost weight. so this time, I'm going to do it properly.

    and thanks to the forum overall, I've actually been sneakily lurking on here for a few days, and it's been really inspirational.

    so again, hello! I'm glad to be here.

    hilariously, I dreamed last night that I was eating a popsicle. I had a bite of it and went "OH NO, I'M IN INDUCTION...I CAN'T EAT THIS!!!" I figure that's a good sign! even my subconscious mind is on board.
