  • What Its Like Being New

Hey, I'm Abby and I am trying my hardest to shed the 70+lbs that found its way onto my body after the birth of my second child. With the help of slim fast and Atkins I have managed to go from 223lbs to 207. I still have a long way to go, but I find that Atkins has been most effective and easiest to stick to because I can feel full, eat well and still shed the weight. I just completed my first week of induction and dropped five pounds. I am now on my second week and hoping I can pump another five out and off this bod. I joined the forum because there were too many encouraging pics to ignore the reality of how successful this program could be. So, grab your steak and veggie plate and say CHEERS!

Thanks to all of you. It has NOT been easy, but it is still easier than all of the other approaches I have tried. From cabbage, to master cleanse to 1000 cals per day, I have suffered long enough. I never knew I can eat and smile and lose weight. cutting out the carbs is well worth it. At first I craved and I was cranky and POOPED all the time, and then I got thru it and now I feel normal. down .2lbs today! I will be here again soon, and I will post my before.
