    Hi everyone

    I am all the way over in New Zealand, I started the induction 8 days ago and so far things are looking good.

    I haven't weighed myself since I started, but it feels like its working.

    I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has less to lose. Its so amazing to see all of you who have lost heaps of weight, but I only want to lose about 10 pounds to get to my goal weight.

    Anyway just wanna say thanks for this great site, it really helps and definately keeps me motivated.

    Hello and welcome aboard! Good to have you with us!

    You're doing Atkins... the absolute right programme for losing, be it a lot or a little... and the weight'll come off for sure if you do the plan right. A word of warning though: It might be a little slower than for some, which is perfectly normal when you don't have much to lose, so don't make comparisons with people who have loads to lose and get discouraged.

      Welcome! many people with little to lose, lose on Atkins and maintain a healthy diet afterwards with Atkins maintenance. Don't be alarmed if it comes off slow. The less you have to lose,, the slower you usually lose it. But it is a healthy way to take it off!

        Hi Jessie-Leigh!

        First, I just want to say that I absolutely LOVE New Zealand! I went there a few years ago and didn't want to leave! About you joining Atkins and this forum, congrats! You only have a little to lose, so make sure you move onto the second phase after 2 weeks in induction. You can do it!
