  • Hello

Hi, new to atkins, starting today with my daughter. I have lost 20 lbs very slowly this last year doing weight watchers, but have been going nowhere for the past several months. I hope this is the answer for me. A friend at work is at her goal soooo I'm giving it a try. I already exercise and am looking forward to not counting points.

    45 years old
    weight today 163
    height 5'6"
    goal 130

Tossed some stuff out of the kitchen and am going shopping to get the right food. Then to the YMCA for my regular workout....maybe I need to mix that up too!Have a good day everyone

    5'6" weight 178/156.5/135, age 47
    mini goal 150
    Oppsies - I love them!

    Re: Hello

That's great that you got to toss things out of the kitchen. Don't need temptation like that lying around. Unfotunately, there are other people in my house who will NOT give up their carbs, so I'm stuck with my vices lurking everytime I go to the kitchen.

I hope you do really well on this. Good luck!

      Re: Hello

I was a month on WW this spring. No cheats, exercised daily, and after 3.5 weeks I had lost half a pound. Thats when I decided to return to the fold and I am so glad i did.

It comes off slowly, but since the end of March I have lost 16.5 pounds. And it continues to come off, slowly but surely. Welcome.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.
