Day 4 and not one pound lost yet - following strictly too. But feel better and now get starving hungry at times which I never did before ;; a good thing.Kathy - per your suggestion I got the hand weights since with my MS and fused back walking and exercise are limited. Laughed though - I got 2# hand weights . . . I thought. Turns out they are 2.2 Kg which = 6 Lbs !! Wondered why they felt so heavy but thought is was just poor muscle tone.
Laurie - per your suggestion I went to Linda's Recipe site and got tons of great ideas. I was feeling down because had no idea what to eat other than straight meat and cheese. Now I am back cooking again, which I do all the time, and doing only legal items. Life is good again.
Gman - per you suggestion I got cans of tuna to put on salad greens and to make tuna salad. Also started making your veggie omelets. Yum. And made hamburger soup with the sliced greens you suggested. That is great and will be a mainstay for me.
Also as suggested I went to You Tube with a Low Carb search as well as Atkins and was amazed at all the videos and help there. Who Knew ??
I am discouraged that day 4 has brought no weight loss yet but I can feel body changes so I know my metabolism is changing around. Got the Ketone strips as suggested and now show "trace" which I had not before. Slow start but I have all the time in the world to get it right.
I also went to Ticker Factory and got one set up for me - but how do I insert it into my profile here so it shows up? Or do you have to "Capture" it (which I can do) and include it as a photo?
