    Hi, This is my first time doing Atkins. I have gained 60 lbs since I fell in love with my fiance. We became so comfortable with eachother that we both fell off. Now, we are at a point where we are done being happy and fat, and need to be happy and healthy. Today is day 5 for me and it has not been that easy, but I am motivated to stick to it! I have had headaches and nausea, but on the flip side I have beat my coffee craving. I bought some ketone strips and I am seeing a light purple color( that's exciting). I am excited to join the challenge with everyone. I hope that this site can keep me motivated and on track as well as meet people with the same goals as I have.

    Can anyone tell me if I can eat dill pickles during induction?

    Welcome Christina-

    I think pickles are like a cuke which is pretty low and ok. Try this site:
    Carbs in Pickles - Carb Counter
    which says a medium one has 1.9 net carb grams

      Hi Christina The headaches and nausea should pass soon. Plain aspirin usually helps. It's just the "induction flu". Good luck in your Atkins journey

        Hi Christina,

        I am new here too. I really know it is very hard to stay on the track. As we are new there are lots of unknown here. Check my post .."Hi I am new and would like to join" There are lot of comments and advises which are really important to us. I have published my menus everyday and I have been told what is right and wrong there.
        Stay with us . Trust me it really pays u off.
