  • New to the forum, but back on the wagon with Atkins

Hi all. I am so glad to have found this forum. I wish I had it the first time I went on Atkins. The first time I was on it about a month and lost 20 pounds. Then I went off of it thinking I could do low fat, well, I gained it all back. Then I have been off and on a few times, never going past a week because I felt so terrible at first even though I know I was going through sugar withdrawls. Then I became pregnant, and just let myself go. Now I am paying for it.

I started out at 214, and am now 208. My goal weight is 140, but will go to 130 if I am able. I think I will be able to do it now that there is all of this support with before & after pictures and great recipes. I look foward to getting to know you guys, and appreciate any tips and advice you have.

Welcome ~ Glad you have joined us. You've come to the right place for motivation and information on doing the Atkins WOE. Everyone here is very friendly and more than willing to give advice and share your journey to health and fitness.

If you haven't read the book, make sure you read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR). I've been doing this WOE for almost a year and it is the best thing I've ever done for myself. Read the book, come here for inspiration and advice (lots of forums to motivate you), and you will soon see unwanted pounds and inches dissappear. You can do this. If you stick to it, you'll soon lose the cravings and be comfortable with your new way of eating. Best Wishes
