  • Adios carbs... I'm back & losing weight!!

I did this a few years ago and like one member said, "I got egged out!" I too would feel nauseous just seeing all the cartons of eggs in the grocery store... I wish I'd had this BB back then and seen all the great support and amazing recipes. What a huge difference this time! I LOVE IT! My husband and I both started 2 days ago and have been following it to a T. Dark pink keto strip today and down to 172.8 from 177 on friday (today is monday) He is seeing results too!

I tried weight watchers on the advice of my Nurse Practitioner, but after a month had only lost about 7 lbs. All that tracking & documentation wasnt for me... I was always hungry and worried about what I could eat without using up my points. Now I've started a food journal (today!) and happily entered my first "new favorite recipe" ... Spaghetti Squash Lasagna... YUMMM!!!

Thanks to all of you for the creative recipes and caring support. I'm looking forward to being able to contribute & hopefully offer some inspiration myself as I grow (or is it 'shrink'??) on this journey!

    Kindest regards to you all!!!

      Dear mommidearest:

Welcome to you and your DH. To break the egg rut, try cold cut roll ups, something with turkey, cheese and cold cucumber for example. I got the idea while traveling in Europe a while back - saw that they eat a lot of cold cuts for breakfast. The cuke was my idea I cannot tell a lie. The other advantage is no cooking or stuff to clean up either...leaving more time to work out! (Chime in anyone from Europe or who has visited. In Germany it was a special request to get eggs at a hotel.)
