  • Newbie with Energy!

    Hello Everyone! My name is Alisha and I've been encouraged by this bulletinboard! I wanted to join, so I could find some new recipes. My husband and I started the induction phase of Atkins on Sunday and we have already lost 3 pounds. We have both done Atkins before and love how we feel and lose weight. I already had bursts of energy today. I did some yard work and cleaned the house. For the past 3 months I've been so tired that at work I would go to my car to sleep for my 30 minute lunch. Hopefully, I will become more productive now.

    Thanks to all of you who have encouraged me already!

    Welcome, hopefully this time the lifestyle will stick. There are some great recipes floating around here as well as lots of support!

        Hi Alisha,

        Welcome and congratulations on your weight loss already! Great to hear you're feeling some new found energy and find this forum to be encouraging.

        I was looking at the recipe board just lastnight and there are some really exciting ones to try out by the looks of it!

          Hi and welcome to the board.

          I think the increased energy is one of the things I love the most about this way of eating - almost as much as the weight loss! Well done on your loss so far (and your hubby too)
