Hello Everyone! I am new to Atkins. Believe it or not, I had the gastric bypass 5 years ago. My heaviest weight was 329 lbs. After I had the surgery I did manage to get down to 208. Over the past three years the weight has started to creep back on me, mainly because I was eating the wrongs foods. I still cannot eat a lot but I eat the wrong food( potatoes, pasta, chocolate).
I started Atkins on 08/01. When I weighed on Friday my weight was 240. As of today it is 235. The Atkins Diet is forcing me to cook every day and eat healthy. I plan to start exercising this week also. I am currently in an 18/20 but would like to get down to a 12/14. That is the goal.
I do have a question. Why do you go to the bathroom so much while on Atkins? I am going to the bathroom about every 3 hours.
