I have been looking at this site for almost two weeks now, and have been amazed and blessed by what I have seen.

My husband and I started Atkins two weeks ago after hearing on the news that Atkins isn't as bad as everyone first thought. So, we figured what the heck. Thirteen days later and he has lost 11 lbs. and I have lost 7lbs.

We have done great, I have to say, I don't think I could have stayed on it, without his willing participation. NOW, I don't think I need it, isn't it amazing what can happen in just two weeks. I have no desire to eat carbs or go over the 20 alloted.

Since I have more to lose I am continuing on the induction phase for another two more weeks. Doing every diet known to man in the past, the greatest thing that I learned was you can make a break a habit in three weeks. With that in mind, I would rather stay on the induction for another two weeks to solidify what I am doing.

I thank this board for the tips, recipes, encouragement, and most importantly, the inspiration I have received so far. I hope to be able to return the favor.
