    hello,
my name is William and im trying to drop 70 pounds. I have lost 32 pounds in the last 30 days BUT i have not really worked the diet as the book states i.e. not enough carbs and starvation, pretty much just protein with a few nights of binge drinking. But now it's time to learn the Atkins way of life and not damage my body by starving myself.

my weight story is this- i am 6' tall and yo-yo from 180 to 225. the cycle happens about every 3 years. this time i went up to 248 after a severe frostbite injury (climbing accident). after a month in the hospital and the doctors wanting to cut off my toes i could do nothing but EAT. the short of a long story is that i could not walk for 6 months and kept EATING. i kept my toes to the amazement of all my doctors and the feet are 100% but now it's time to lose the pouch and stop the yo-yo cycle.

    im now at 216
i want to be around 175

what a great website you have here Tom, thank you!

Some really motivating success stories here!

hope to chat more with you folks!

    cheers,

    wd

Welcome wd! Congrats on your survival and keeping all of your digits! With your discipline and a copy of the DANDR book, in no time you will be healthier ... for climbing and anything else you wish to do.
When I get closer to my goal weight, climbing is something that I want to get into myself.
