  • Hello everyone!

I'm new here my name is Trinity and I live in SF Bay Area. I was on Atkins diet about 4 or 5 yrs ago and it worked great!

Since then I've gained probably about 40 lbs (20 lbs within the last year...grrr)

I've been going through a lot of stress and I have an emotional eating problem. Things have been getting so bad lately that I can only fit about 2 pairs of pants, every other day I just wear a skirt and it's getting very frustrating. Not to mention I can tell that my DH is getting frustrated with my lack of sex appeal .

So, on Monday I decided to try Atkins again.

I just finished my first week (5 days) on Induction. woo hoo!

I am going to try and stay on Induction for at least 2 months (if I can...)

It's been a hard week but today I'm not hungry.

I joined this board so I can share recipes, tips, and motivation.

Looking forward to talking with you.

    Have a great weekend!

    Trinity

I know how frustrating the clothes thing can be..but only after 2 1/2 months I am fitting back into just about everything...I am an emotional eater too! Thats why it is super important to find a hobby or exercise that combats some of your stress....Mine is walking..
You will do great and YOU WILL have success! Stay strong and be strict and watch those pounds melt away!

        Re: Hello everyone!

Hi Trinity! I am a new to all this too. Looking forward to making the journey with you. I am on my sixth day of induction and it's been much smoother and easier than I had anticipated. I haven't had any uncontrollable cravings and I'm feeling pretty energetic and satisfied. Woo hoo - here is to the next eight days!

PS - I am with you on the clothing drama. Dresses and skirts are my best friends. I hope to make it into some slacks soon .... I refuse to go buy anymore newer / bigger "fat" pants.

Cheers to you and much luck and many successes along the way!
