hi everyone. i found this board when i decided to do atkins. i have tried many diets. i have lost weight in the past but never stick to it. i am dedicated to sticking to changing my lifestyle now!
i started the induction last monday and just went off what i thought or heard atkins was. i then found this board and found out i was all wrong. i bought the book and then started full out yesterday. i also bought a scale yesterday and started weighing myself and keeping track.
here are some of the things i have tried/done in the past.
medical weight loss clinic- lost 30lbs (3-4lbs a week)
body for life
south beach
master cleanse (about 1 week)
weight watchers
oh i forgot my personal info! my name is kari and i am 28. i live outside of dallas with my husband and our two daughters, age 3yr and 7mo. we just moved from mich in may and we are enjoying the heat here! my starting weight is 230 and i want to get down to 130lbs. as of today i am already down to 227.4
