    I've been on the Atkins plan for about six weeks. I'm still in the induction phase. I started at 230lbs and now I'm down to about 207lbs. My goal is between 168lbs and 180lbs depending on how I look at that weight. Webmd's BMI calculator says I should weigh, at the most, 168lbs based on my age and height. I think that's a little light but we'll see. I'm working out with weights 3 days a week but I find that it's more of a challenge with a low carb diet. I walk 4 miles an hour between 4 & 7 days a week on average.

    I joined this group to learn more about real life experiences from members on the Atkins plan and to ask and answer questions.

    Sounds like you are off to a fantastic start! Way to go! Give yourself a pat on the back and keep going strong. Your exercise regimen is one to be envious of, so for that I say..."FANTASTIC!!!!"

        290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!
