I have dabbled in Atkins before but in the past I have never really read the book properly and have therefore been half-hearted in my previous efforts to stick to the plan.
This time I've bought the "Atkins Made Easy" Induction phase book as well as the Atkins Cookbook and have been amazed at how motivating the information has been. I have 8kg's to lose (which I've wanted to lose for many years now but have never done). I am on day 9 of Induction and have lost 2.5kgs and an average of 2cm per important measurement (waist, hip etc).
Its not always easy as I do still crave bread - my weakness...and occasionally some chocolate but my husband has kindly removed all bread and sugary things from the house for me so that's been a help.
Its good to know there are so many people on this same journey.
