Hi all. My name is Stephanie.
Not only am I new to the board, I am fairly new to diets. I am one of those that has always been overweight and I do mean always.
I was never the biggest kid in class, but ran a close 3rd or 4th. My whole adult life (except for a small stint of weight loss around 93) I have weighed somewhere around 200.
I just finally woke up and decided that being only 3 short years from 40 that I needed to make some changes and I am starting here.
I am only on my 3rd day of Induction and so far so good. I have been a bit tired, but figure that is the way my body is saying "where the heck is all that sugar and bread?!?!".
I am hoping that this will work well for me with the results I desire. I could lie and say that I don't want to weigh 120 lbs for once in my life, but I think this would be unrealistic for me.
I have set my goal for somewhere between 140 and 145. At the very least, I will have a decent weight for my height and a normal BMI.
I am so glad to find this board here, as I expect I will need much support starting this fresh out of the box, so to speak.
So, if anyone has any suggestions for me or cautions, please please allow them whenever possible.
I will keep everyone updated with my progress, but have promised myself to track only weekly versus daily.
Can't wait to hear from those of you who are dealing with the same things I am currently and those of you who have been there and done that.
Thanks for letting me participate!
Stephanie
