Hi everyone,
I'm Deiny from Philippines, and yes I wanted to lose weight for the nth time. I've been yoyo dieting for years now, and it was really so frustrating that everytime i had to start all over again, the pounds are losing more slowly than it did the last time.
Anyway, just to give you a background 'bout myself, I got my "chubby" genes from my mom. I was athletic until my 3rd grade, when the pounds started to pile up. Well, I only did something 'bout it when I was in high school, but I gained again before graduation. When I was in college I was so committed to be fit, because ofcourse I'll be looking for job and it would be nice if I'll look presentable aside from having good credentials. So in short, I was on my fittest weight from 175lbs to 125lbs when I got my degree.
I got a nice job and new found friends and since I'm earning my own money, our past time is to eat and munch everytime we can. After two years (which now), I'm 146lbs.
I tried Atkins last year and I lost 11lbs in 2 weeks. I felt better but I found it hard to sustain it because of peers who are always tempting me to eat. But now, I've moved to another company and I'm more devoted now to this journey. I won't let anybody or anything to stop me from eating this way and living my life healthy.
I started Atkins offically last Monday, August 25 and I've been going to gym reagularly for almost a month now, 4x a week, and if I'm not going to gym I see to it that I do some stretches and weights at home. I feel better and I could feel my thighs tightening.
I hope I could make it this time, and with your help and encouragement I, hope I could battle all temptations that would pass along my way.
I've read a lot of success stories here in the site and I wish I could also impart mine.
(once I'm in my goal weight of 110-115lbs).
Will let you know of my progress once in a while. God bless us!
Regards,
DEINY
