Hi, I'm back. I joined the weight loss revolution 4 1/2 years ago. I was very successful with the eating plan and lost 50 lbs. When I found I had to start taking BP meds, my weight loss immediately stalled and remained so. Slowly, I found I was losing my support. The Atkins vitamins were no longer available. My carb maintenance allowance is a mere 50-55 grams. I could no longer find the 5 gr carb count yougurt, the 5 gr carb Morning Start cereal which was my only add ons after induction phase. Slowly the pounds crept back. I found myslef eating only chicken fish and salad. It was just too difficult.
So here I am, having gained back 30 of the 50 lbs I worked so hard to lose. My cupboards are ready. I have always kept the habit of drinking 100 oz. of water. I will up my exercise plan and read arond the board more. I looks like there are some new vitamin supplements out there.
At 58 years old, the process may be more difficult, but I am determined to peel off some of these pounds. I'm 5' 10" and would like to get down to 170...about30 pounds to lose.
