to finally realizing I am a carboholic and this WOL works for me. Hi all! I am txsweety from Houston and have committed to making this my way of life and not just a diet until I reach my goal weight (which is in the far, far distance right now). I am at the heaviest I have ever been - 54 years young, 280 lbs. of 'slow moving energy' and the mother of the bride in March. Whoa!!
Here's my past dilemma that I KNOW I will need your help with.......I start out very motivated, enthused, excited and then after about 5 days my mind begins to rationalize why 'just this one night off the induction plan' will not hurt. Right???!!! One thing I will do differently this time around is really utilize these boards - I'm usually a board stalker and never add my two cents on anything. But, I do believe this has been the missing piece for my staying focused. All of the posts I read are so helpful and inspiring, but I think this should be a 2-way street. Before, I would read and leave. Now, I'm determined to make the forums an important part of 'taking care of me'.
I ran out and bought the new DADR and began reading to refresh my memory on why this will work for me. My pantry is in pretty good shape (I do cook alot from Stella Style cookbooks) so I'm starting out in a good place. I'm just needing the daily motivation from you guys and hopefully, I can do the same for someone else.
Thanks for being here - you are all now a part of my family that will not sabotage, but support. .

That excuse for a cheat night is the carb withdrawals talking....and probably a little self pity feeling of denial. Promise yourself two clean weeks of induction. just 14 days....and then you can reset your goal. Good luck !
