I'm not sure what to say here, however i'll quickly introduce myself. I'm yvonne [as my username suggests!], from Ireland.
I'm 5'0 [approx 153cm] and on tuesday past [26th August '08] i weighed a whopping 12st 9lbs [177lbs]. Yikes!
I want to get to around 9st initially, to be in a healthy weight range. On tuesday and wednesday i started into my dieting, initially following WW point methods, but i switched to Atkins yesterday [thursday], so i'm now coming to the end of my 2nd day on Atkins. So far, so good. I haven't felt deprived of old favourite foods, or had any major carb withdrawal symptons. However, i did feel extremely zapped of energy, up until about 4pm today, but after that i was okay.
Looking forward to getting into ketosis, hopefully i'll be in it tomorrow, or sunday. Also looking foward to getting to know you all better.
