This is my 17th day, and so far it is going well. My start weight was 193, and my goal is to lose 20% of that - so 154. This morning I weighed in at 178.6.
I see that many on this site have "mini-goals" set for themselves. Should I break my goal down some? Maybe that would help keep me motivated??
I have set rules for myself, but would love some advice on how to make this work better. Here are my rules:
1) Follow the book! He was on to something...
2) 20-30 minutes of "power-walking" (I'm working up to jogging...) at least 4 days each week FIRST THING IN THE MORNING.
3) Water, water, water...soda only once every couple of days.
4) No alcohol. Period.
5) Nothing to eat after 6:30. (I think this is realistic - I get up at 4 and go to bed around 8:30.)
Thoughts?
