  • Hi-ya'll!!

Hello-everyone, my name is Sarah, I’m from PA. I’m new to the whole Atkins thing. I’ve always been a “bigger boned” girl pretty much all my life, although I think my height does set me off a little bit ( I’m 5’10”) And I’ve always used that as my excuse to be heavier. By heavier the heaviest I’ve ever been was around 215. But because of my height it never look to bad on me. Anyway, this past year I’ve been bound and determined to loose weight. I had my goal set I was suppose to go to Myrtle Beach this summer, so I had something to look forward to I wanted to be lookin good for the beach, but do to my significant other’s job issue we had canceled our vacation, and I think from there I kind of lost sight of my goal, I didn’t have to wear a bikini or look good so what was the point. I did however lose about 15 pounds just from exercising 3-4 times a week. Which I have kept off (fluctuating only 1-3 pounds) Which did lift my sprits. Since then I have slowly stopped working out….life happens I started back up with my schooling and working so it just got harder to go. I’m hoping though next month my work schedule will be more flexible that I will be able to get back into the workout swing of things. I loved the way I felt after a workout so energetic and ready to take on the world! I was addicted to the endorphins that so happy feel good feeling after workouts. So because of my busy life I just thought I would try something new. I’ve heard of the great results from Atkins and I’m excited to start. I have to admit I am a carb addict. I love my bread pasta, mashed potatoes……and such. But I’ve put all that into perspective, its not healthy and its only weighing me down….literally! I think I’m going to slowly start on Atkins. Only because I work 3rd shift and I go to class in the mornings till noon, so I do really need my energy drinks, which have loads of sugars and carbs. But I hope to start the real deal in October. So I’ll keep you all posted on my starting. I’m still trying to figure out this whole forum thing and post pictures. So keep a look out!
