  • 5 pounds in six days- soup in the morning

    Hi all,

My name is stacey. I am just joining Atkins and induction is tough but I am starting to seeing results. I have actually started having induction friendly veggie soup in the morning so that I don't have to have an egg every morning. I love the variety presented by having soup in the morning. Also, since I don't like the texture of jello, I have started putting jello powder in ricotta desserts to add an extra kick. Believe it or not, it tastes good with out the slippery texture of jello.

    good luck everyone

The recipe is 1/2 head of cabbage, two cups of frozen spinach, chicken bouillan and onions. I plan to experiment with different atkins friendly vegatable in subsequent weeks.

I don't think ricotta is allowed on induction. And be careful with jello - contains aspertame - which we try to avoid.
I like the soup recipe - but make sure that you eat protein and fat for breakfast as well.
