      Hi, Focus

      Welcome to ADBB!

You wrote: "I used to do a low carb diet a few years back and lost a lot of weight but then starting eating normally again and have put on some of the weight I lost."

If by "eating normally" you mean eating carbage (unnatural, processed carbs = carbage), then yep, that's what's going to happen. One of the most important pieces of advice I can offer to you, is to look upon the Atkins WOE (way of eating) as a lifestyle change to achieve better health... not just a means to lose weight. It's important to read the book (we use the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution here), so that you can fully understand the science behind it. When you understand the plan, it gives you the confidence you need to stick to plan. Your health depends upon it!

I'd like to provide a link to a "sticky" that I placed at the top of this forum. If you haven't read it yet, please do so. It contains a lot of information to get you re-acquainted with the Atkins WOE and tips for using the board. Here you go: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-new-read.html

      Good luck!
