    Starting Induction...

Hi there! I am joining this group for support! I have 20 lbs of baby weight to lose, my son is 1 year old this week! When pregnant, I went from 130lbs to 185lbs, and I am now at 145lbs and having a great deal of trouble losing the last 15-20lbs.

I have always been a pretty healthy, low-carb eater, it kept me pretty thin for years along with exercise. But since pregnancy, its been tough to exercise regularly with a newborn and then all I craved were carbs.

So I started the induction diet in July, and lost like 10 lbs in the first 3 wks. But then I went off of it after temptation at the summer beach house, everyone eating cookies and chips and sandwiches and saying that low-carb was crazy.

So here I am, starting Induction again. I am determined to lose these last 15-20lbs. Its my first day on Induction and its really hard. Its esp hard not to have my glasses of red wine after the wild toddler finally crashes at night! I joined this forum for support, your stories are amazing-- so wish me luck!!
    Thanks muchos for listening
    Cheers

Good luck! I am sure you are going to do great with the WOE. I lost quite a bit of weight the year after my daughter was born.... so I know its possible!

I am in the same boat as you. My daughter just turned two last week and while pregnant I went from 147 to 195, and now i'm down to 156 (after losing 9 pounds on induction). Carbs are the easiest thing to grab when you're in a hurry - a bagel here, a muffin, etc. Having a child sure puts you in busy mode. Best of luck losing your 15-20 lbs, I know you can do it!!!
