    hi i'm miriam from nyc, i will be starting the induction for the first time on monday. lol i'm more worried about what to make than anything.

    right now my start weight is 283lbs and with help and guidance. i will
    hopefully soon emerge from this cocoon i'm in, and become a beautiful butterly of 165lbs. i still haven't bought a food scale nor measure cup and spoons, but tomorrow i will be going shopping so um yeah, not quite sure whatelse to say so i guess thats it

    Hey Miriam:
    If you want to weigh your foods you can but its not really necessary. I would do a clean Induction. Eat only from the acceptable food list, treat all sugar like it is poison...Not even a little is ok! Make great foods like Deviled eggs and cubes of cheese ( dont go over 3-4oz of cheese)to keep in the fridge for snacks inbetween meals. Chicken salad, tuna salad, fresh broccoli, lettuce, baby spinach for salads. Sugar free dressing like Marie's blue cheese or many ranch dressings have no sugar. Grab yourself a steak or roast beef and slice it with a side of Horseradish/mustard dressing. Buy sugar free bacon or kielbasa and have with scrambled eggs. Make water your go everywhere friend. The possabilities are endless. You dont have to weigh your foods. You just have to measure your veggies and be sure not to go over 20 grams of carbs. Use www.fitday.com to help you plan your menu. Its free and it shows hidden carbs. The beauty of this plan is that if you have a clean Induction your appetite and portion sizes drop by themselves.

        well at work i have patricia, she introduced me to atkins. she told me to measure everything just for induction. i went to that site and its freakin awesome, LOL just need a measuring tape. that will be bought tomorrow and i will edit my profile and set my goals.

        um i'm actually in the chelsea area
        ok i gotta go now i'm getting ready for a babyshower. man the hardest part is trying to blowdry my hair
