I am back on a wagon. I have started "pre" Atkins. I am changing the things I eat, experimenting, trying to get a bearing on what my menu structure will be. I've not done Atkins before but did do Sugar Busters successfully losing 25 lbs. Since moving back to Louisiana in Jan 06, I've regained the weight and very few of the clothes fit (gotta love elastic). So it's time to get back into a healthier eating lifestyle. I'm waiting on the 2002 Atkins book now as well as the cookbook. Looking forward to tackling this weight!

Welcome to ADBB!
Gald to hear that you're getting the book. It really does help you to get a thorough understanding of the plan, which is necessary to get the best results.
If you haven't seen this "sticky" yet, please click on the link and give it a look. Lots of info in there, to help you along your journey. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-new-read.html

Re: Back on "a" wagon
I have read thru most of the site. I do truly appreciate the involvement of the "moderators" here. Very supportive.
To offer, I have a pretty comprehensive food list and their carbs from my friend's nutrition college text book. It gives more data than that but I only copied one side of the page! It's 34 pages long and is a "pdf" file.
Thanks to all for being here.....I'm off to gather recipes and ideas.Happy Mardi Gras!!
Keeping away from the Kingcakes.....
