  • Back Home Again!

I'm back again, and this time for good! Over the last 3 years or so, I am embarrassed to say I have put back 75% of the 90 lbs I lost. I feel horrible about that, because I worked so hard at it. I gradually gained 10 lbs at a time, and reality has finally hit. I can't fit into any of my thin clothes, I haven't worked out in ages, and feel very sluggish, and I don't like the way I look. So the time has come for me to do something about it, and so here I start. I've set myself up a workout program, and started this a few days ago, as well as getting back on the Atkins WOL. I look forward to sharing successes and challenges with you all, in the upcoming months.

      Cruisergal! Hi!!

Welcome back... I do remember you.

Yikes, the weight can easily come back, can't it? Having reached Maintenance, I can attest to the fact that being diligant with the routine is something that will always be necessary and it does take effort.

What's past, is past. Learn from your mistakes, and MOVE ON. You have the advantage of knowing that this WOE works, and you've witnessed how easy it is to let go of it. I'm SO proud of you for coming back here! You can do this!!

You know the routine... stick close to the board, and do your best. Good luck!

              Re: Back Home Again!

There is a new 6WEC (6 week exercise challenge) starting on Sunday. It's a great way to stay motivated to exercise. Hope to see you there!

              Welcome and good luck!

                Re: Back Home Again!

Blueberrylady, I'm a step ahead of you. I already joined up last night for the 6WEC. I was consistant the last time, and found the committment to excercise was an important part of my weight loss, so I signed up to get the ball rolling again. Thx for the welcome though!
