Hi everyone,
I just started induction again 9/15.
I lost 60 pounds in 6 months back in 1999 with Atkins I was happy maintaining at 180 lbs as a size 12/14 (I'm 5'7"). I did a pretty good job keeping it off for 3 years.
I quit smoking and let myself eat carbs to get though it and then started grad school and resumed all my old bad eating habits. The weight has slowly crept back on plus 10 more in the past 5 years or so...
Now I'm 250 lbs, done grad school, smoking again and turned 40 this summer...so I'm starting all over again
I'm happy that there are forums for support and lots of new creative recipies now!!!

now you're older and wiser, I found that quitting smoking while doing Atkins simultaneousy was easy for me, because Atkins removes a lot of incentive for oral gratification, plus you feel so much more energized and healthy
