Over the past 10 years, I have gained a 155lb friend. I really don't like her much. She weighs me down, forces me into clothes I don't really like, won't let me go play with my kids for long, and tells me how to feel. She won't let me go to the water park or ride amusement park rides. When people snicker behind my back, she doesn't do anything to help. She makes me uncomfortable and sometimes she makes me feel sad. I get so angry at her and I just wish she would just get out of my life, but day in and day out she is there. Every morning when I wake up, she is there. When I got to sleep, she is there. I really wish she would go away. I don't want to be friends with her anymore. She is now my enemy! I refuse to let her rule my life anymore. Here's to you my 155lb enemy, GO AWAY, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE ANYMORE!!!
I have found this forum so helpful. I thought I would come and introduce myself. My name is Deborah. I am 27, a mother of four (one at home fulltime, one partime, twins in VA). I am an Austin, TX native and love my city! I weigh 330 lbs. My goal weight, and totally attainable weight is 175lbs. I am 5'7. 10 years of poor portion control, unhealthy food choices, an addiction to potatoes, and no exercise has stacked 155 extra pounds onto my body.
I started my Atkins journey Monday September 15th, weighing in at 331lbs. So far I think I have done excellent. I have been in Ketosis for the past 2 or 3 days. I am scared to get on a scale, however. I think I will wait until closer to the end of my 2 weeks. I plan on doing extended induction.
