  • New to the board

Hi, i'm AngieB...i have been struggling with my weight since i got pregnant with my 3rd child. I had lost a bunch of weight back in 2003 (165lbs to 127lbs.)..needless to say my husband came home from a deployment & I got pregnant. Gained all 40lbs back. I still have not lost it yet. I am 150lbs now, but my goal is not far away. I did lose some of it back in 2005, but have gained about 15 of that back. My starting weight now is 152lbs...I start my atkins tomorrow...seeing I just started reading about this acouple hours ago after getting an email telling me Atkins was back. I looked into it back in 2005 & did lose 15 pounds but went on medication & ate everything in site. I gained all + some back.

Now im back to lose this last 20 pounds before my husband gets back in Jan 2009.

Boy is this going to be hard..I LOVE CARBS!!!!!!!!!

Welcome aboard! I have every confidence that you'll be looking ravishing as you greet your soldier!

Welcome to the board. Yes, we all love carbs but they don't love us or they wouldn't make our lives so miserable or make us sick. They are not your friends, we are.

Do you have the book? It will tell you exactly how the diet works and how to make it a permanent part of you life. Good luck.
