  • Hey!!!

    Hey Guys!

    My name is Holly and I am 22! I just restarted Atkins for probably the 4th time...I usually get to a couple of weeks and end up going off the rails so this time i plan to be more commited and it's the first time on this forum so hopefully that will help! I am one of those people who have been dieting since they were about 10... I've managed to keep a couple of stone off and not gain weight since i was 17 but rest of weight just seems to be permanently there and I yo-yo half a stone.

    SO NOW I AM COMMITED TO THIS and I am going to be Student Midwife next year so i need to be fit and healthy

    anyway I better go my bacon is burning xxxxxx

    Welcome Holly. This forum will definitely help if you visit often, read other success stories and ask questions. We are all here to support each other and help in any way we can, so look around, check out the Second Time Around Club and maybe join some challenges. Good luck this time!

      Hiya Holly I'm a third timer, and I just wanted to mention that each time, the losing gets slower for me. It would have been so much easier if I just stuck it out the first time. You're still young (I'm an old bag ) so now's the time! I'm glad you joined us!!





      290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

        Welcome Holly. Sometimes it takes a few tries for it to finally sink in that this is the best woe (way of eating) for our bodies. You're back because you know it works, so use all the resources available here to make it a life time committment this round. Good luck!
        1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
        2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
        3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
        Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight
        (Next pic at 187)






        Current Mini Goals:
        1) 35 pounds lost
        2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5
        3) 45 pounds lost to update 15 pound loss picture series

          Yep that about sums it up! Alot of other diets work too but Atkins is by far the bestest and in a sense easiest!! I am missing my normal diet so much thoughhhh i actually ate really healthy and vegan esque naturally but it just wasn't making me lose weight just maintain my weight! Been yo yo dieting since i was 10 so i guess my metabolism is shot, but i am losing weight on Atkins so yay!
