  • Newly eating Meat...

    Hey there everyone! I've just switched over from being a vegan to doing atkins. I'm really unsure about anything beyond induction so if anyone has any tips feel free to share! If there are any Chicagoans i'd love to meet up with you sometime for support or just to hang out. I'm really into running and yoga, and wouldn't mind finding a buddy to do either with. I'm 5'6.5 and 133 lbs right now. I just wanna get back in shape again. Well I look forward to learning more about atkins.

    Hiya mayo Why the decision to change? Do you need to lose weight or are you just making a move toward the healthier?
    Do you have the 2003 Atkins Revolution book? You can find them pretty cheap on Ebay....thank goodness, cause when I loan them out I never get 'em back





    290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

      I started running again, and my nutritionist said i would either have to spend a lot of money to remain vegan or spend a lot less but still get all the nutrition i needed from meat and veggies etc combined. So i opted for the cheaper yet nutritionally balanced option.
