Hello to all, my name is Donovan and this is my first time doing the Atkins. My mother and aunt had done the diet before with great results and since I injured my ankle and haven't been very activce I thought I'd give it a try. Have a wife and 9 month old son and am finding it very difficult just within the first couple of days. This is day 2 of my induction phase and not being able to eat the foods I used to is hard. I also have to get used to eating new foods that I have never tried before in my life. My goal weight is 170lbs and I am starting out at 230lbs. This seems like a great site to go to for help with addictions or those cravings for sweets and just browsing through to see how others came through. Don't think I would be able to do it without this site. Well good luck to all.
