I've been reading all the wonderful posts on this site for a while and I decided to join a few days ago. I am so inspired by all your wonderful posts. Well here's my story:
I've been on and off Atkins for well over 3 years and this is what I know for sure. This diet works if you let it. My first time on Atkins I lost 17 lbs in about three weeks. I exercised a lot and of course I dranked a lot of water and then I allowed myself to backslide. So here I go AGAIN. I started induction last Sunday (9/29) weighing in at 215 lbs and today (10/4) I'm down to 209 lbs. I stayed focused, didn't cheat and I dranked a lot of water. This week I plan on getting back into my exercise routinue. I will be posting pic in the next couple of days. My goal is to lose at least 50 lbs. With all the support this board provides I'm sure I'll get there!!!
